CAMPIXX 2024 - Overview

Since 2009, this annual event has brought together an impressive array of SEO nerds, content creatives, search experts, and many other curious innovators from the online marketing universe all over Germany and beyond. We were right in the middle of it!

This year, our SEO-warrior Nadine Wolff had the special honor of giving a lecture on the upcoming Accessibility Enhancement Act – a topic particularly close to her heart. She explained the importance of the law, which requires websites to meet certain accessibility standards. She presented practical examples of website optimization and emphasized how such adjustments help improve organic visibility. The law is essentially based on the principles of the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), which have been deemed forward-thinking and recommended by internet visionaries for years to make internet access more universal.

The Warriors also had the opportunity to learn a lot. Some of the key insights from the conference included:

• SEO is dead; long live Search. In keeping with the saying, "The King is dead, long live the King."

• AI is not a hype; it is a practical tool that makes our work easier.

• The effectiveness of any AI depends on the human behind it.

• The internet is diverse.

• Networking is better with full stomachs!

In addition to numerous opportunities to refresh and deepen our knowledge in the areas of search, content, and AI, the conference offered entertaining networking events like speed-dating, karaoke, and beer yoga. There was also excellent catering for our physical well-being.
